The Brownells Silvaloy 355 Silver Solder is a high-quality, cadmium-free solder designed for joining various metals, including steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, and precious metals. With a silver content of 56%, it offers excellent flow characteristics and a low melting point, making it ideal for precise applications such as installing sights and ramps on stainless steel firearms. The solder melts at 1145°F and flows at 1205°F, ensuring strong, reliable joints. For optimal results, it is recommended to use this solder with Ultra Flux®.
